What do Rickman farms need for field sanitation?
Rickman farms with 11 or more hand-laborers in a field need toilets and hand-wash stations under OSHA's field sanitation rule. The rule requires one of each per 20 workers within a quarter-mile walk. Field work of three hours or less a day, travel included, is exempt.
SR-111 and SR-293
Rickman sits where Rickman Monterey Highway, SR-293, meets old Rickman Road, with SR-111 along its west side. SR-111 is a fast, wide route from Cookeville, which is why same-day drops often work here. Farms out on SR-293 toward Monterey take a few more minutes. Give us the road name and a mailbox number so the driver finds your field gate.
Moving units with the work
Farm work moves from field to field across a season. A towable porta potty trailer can follow the crew behind a pickup. Or we can move a standard unit when you ask. Either way, the toilet stays inside the quarter-mile walk that OSHA expects for field crews. Tell us a day ahead before a big move.
School and church events
Rickman Elementary is the community's primary school. School fundraisers, church homecomings and ball games can draw more people than indoor restrooms handle. For an outdoor event of 100 people over a few hours, plan two standard units and a hand-wash station. Make one unit wheelchair-accessible for older guests.
How do home builders set up porta potty rental in Rickman, TN?
A home build in Rickman fits one standard unit serviced weekly and billed every 28 days. Rickman is unincorporated Overton County land, so check county rules before you build. Set the unit near the driveway on firm ground. We pump or swap it on the same day each week.
