Rental Terms and Cancellation Policy

These porta potty rental terms and cancellation policy rules explain how booking, billing, pickup and damage work for every Silo Porta Potty Pros rental. They are written in plain language. Booking an order means you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, call (931) 207-4320 before you book and we will explain it.

Booking and payment

Payment is taken by credit or debit card when you book, which holds your unit, date and price. Drivers do not collect payment on site. Businesses can apply for net terms, and after credit approval, orders can be invoiced. A certificate of insurance or a W-9 is available on request.

Your quote lists every unit, delivery charge, rush fee and sales tax. Fuel surcharges and card fees are never added. The total on your quote is the total on your invoice unless you change the order.

Event billing and 28-day billing

Event rentals pay one flat rate covering up to 4 days on site, usually a Friday or Thursday drop-off and Monday pickup. Events longer than 4 days are priced on a weekly rate or a 28-day cycle. Construction and long-term rentals are billed per 28-day cycle with weekly service, and a cycle is not prorated.

See current starting prices for each unit.

Renewals and extensions

Long-term rentals renew on their own at the start of each new 28-day cycle, and the card on file is charged then. There is no long contract. Event rentals can be extended when you call before the scheduled pickup date, and we quote the extra time before charging it.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Cancel by noon one business day before delivery for a full refund. Same-day and rush orders cannot be refunded once the truck is dispatched. Weather reschedules are free when you give notice before the truck leaves. Date changes for other reasons are also free when the new date is open.

Business hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 6 PM. For a Monday delivery, cancel by noon on Saturday. For a Tuesday delivery, cancel by noon on Monday.

Placement and site access

You choose a flat, firm spot that a delivery truck can reach, clear of cars, equipment and locked gates. Tell us about slopes, soft ground, low wires and gate codes when you book. If the driver cannot reach any safe spot, a return-trip charge may apply, and we always call first.

A unit placed on a public street or right-of-way may need a permit. The Cookeville porta potty permit guide explains the steps.

Damage and loss

Normal wear is free. Vandalism, fire, tipping on purpose, graffiti or a lost unit are billed at repair or replacement cost, and we explain the charge before billing you. Keep units upright and away from fireworks, grills and burn piles, and watch units placed near public roads.

Do not move a set unit yourself. It holds water and chemical, and tipping can cause damage and spills. Call us to move it.

Service access

Weekly and extra service visits need a clear path for the service truck on the scheduled day. Keep gates unlocked or share the code, and do not block the unit with materials or vehicles. If the technician cannot reach a unit, the visit may be missed, and a return trip can be charged.

Pickup requests and when billing stops

Event units are picked up on the scheduled date, and a holiday or route delay costs you nothing extra. Job-site and long-term units stay until you call for pickup. Billing stops at the end of the 28-day cycle in which you call, so call at least two business days before the cycle ends.

Liability

You are responsible for how the unit is used while it is on your site, including keeping it upright, accessible and away from hazards. We are not responsible for damage to lawns, pavers or soft ground from normal delivery when the site was described accurately. Report any problem with a unit right away.

If a unit tips over or fills up after hours or on a weekend, call the main number. Messages left after hours are returned at 7 AM the next business day, and weekend emergency service can be arranged for an extra fee when a crew is available.
